Alexandre Bonnet La Forêt Champagne Les Riceys Rosé Saignée 2015

Alexandre Bonnet La Forêt Champagne Les Riceys Rosé Saignée 2015

Harvested from one of the steepest single vineyard facing south, La Forêt is an intense and distinguished maceration Rosé. This is Les Riceys Pinot Noir in all its glory!

Aging was 5 years on lees, disgorging with low dosage at 5 g/l to preserve purity of the wine.

3,497 bottles were produced for the 2015 Vintage.

Appearance is a clear, ruby red with a touch of brick. The nose is refined with aromas of  cherry, forest fruits, black currant, blueberry, dried cranberry, peppermint and black pepper. The palate is fresh, dry and very lively; a serious wine with good weight and a remarkable mineral and tannic texture.

Delicious to drink right now, but this is a truly fine champagne that aficionados will be3 able to cellar for around twenty years.

Alcohol : 12.5%
